What troubleshooting steps should be taken when a device successfully sends an uplink on SenRa LNS, but Ginjer fails to receive the data, despite having the data forwarding from SenRa LNS to Ginjer already set up?

What troubleshooting steps should be taken when a device successfully sends an uplink on SenRa LNS, but Ginjer fails to receive the data, despite having the data forwarding from SenRa LNS to Ginjer already set up?

When the LNS has received data from the device but has not forwarded it to Ginjer, the following reasons could be possible:

 

  1. Port 0: If the device has sent the data on port 0, it will not be forwarded to Ginjer as this port is default reserved for MAC commands.

 

  1. Empty payload: If the device has sent an empty payload, meaning there is no data in the payload, the LNS will not forward data to Ginjer.

 

  1. Notification Target Error :  If the above errors are not true, then check the Notification target error located at the bottom of the left navigation panel of the device page. This will show the possible reasons for the failure of data forwarding.
